According to representatives of the tourism industry, in popular resort regions - Antalya, Alanya, Kemer, Belek and others - massive problems with the exchange of old dollars are no longer observed. Updated equipment for checking banknotes allowed exchange offices to work more confidently with banknotes of different years of issue
But that doesn’t mean you have to accept any bill.! If the banknote is damaged, badly worn, stained or in doubt when authenticating, the exchanger or bank still has the right to refuse the transaction. This rule applies to both old and new dollars.
