When designing this collection, the designer began with a mirrored facade of the box, but as the images were created, he requested a mirror with a “warm reflection” instead of a standard mirror with a silver base. Together, we came to the conclusion that the antique mirror contradicts the modern design concept. Instead of compromising between warmth and modernity, we collaborated with the factory and developed a new application: carved a thin V-groove on the back of the glass and painted the back surface of the grooved glass in a shade of golden flicker, which achieved both the warmth and the modernity we wanted. Thus, the use of a familiar material in a new application has created this exclusive and rich material. The dresser has eight radially divergent boxes with smooth closing mechanisms, the smaller bedside table has two boxes, and the larger one has one drawer and an open storage compartment. The frame is painted in a matte pearl hue with a thin strip of silkography surrounding the upper surfaces, and the legs are completed with a bronze-gold ferrel.
