Historical origin
«Coffee Table Florence» "Coffee Table Florence" takes as a basis the design of the Catalan column-stwerg (ok). 1130–1140) at The Cloisters, a subdivision of the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to medieval art and architecture. A column of marble and stone, created in France, is installed in Cuxa Cloister, which is recreated from fragments of the XII century monastery of Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa. Coffee Table Florence takes the calm, simple shape of a museum column and is thoroughly reinterpreted as an elegant table made of travertίνa.
